Airport Kiosk

In another effort to discourage visitors to Cambodia from purchasing antiquities as souvenirs, HeritageWatch prepared kiosks at the country’s international airports in Phnom Penh and Siem Reap.

These kiosks — in English, French, Korean, and Japanese — inform visitors of the damage caused by the antiquities trade, of which most are unaware. Importantly, they also stress that it is illegal to export antiquities without the express permission of the Cambodian government.
